Replace Absorption Chiller - Grand Junction VAMC, CO

GCH CONSTRUCTION was responsible for upgrading the refrigeration equipment and systems. GCH work consisted of re-piping the condenser and chilled water lines. This included a new magnetic bearing, dual compressor water chiller unit. The new piping included the new chiller and re-piping the existing chillers. GCH also installed primary and secondary chilled water pumps for the new system. The new chilled/condenser system works together based on outside air temperature to increase the efficiency of the chiller plant as a whole.
